TOM SIROTNAK

Courage Against the Odds

A real-life “Rudy” story, Tom Sirotnak—known as “Big Tommy”—became the first walk-on (non-scholarship) athlete to join the defensive line of the USC Trojans in 50 years. Refusing to listen to doubters, he pursued his dream with courage and determination. He later became one of the original members of the Power Team, using extraordinary demonstrations of strength to illustrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Tommy was also one of only twelve recipients of Edwin Louis Cole’s “Medal of Valor,” recognizing him as a role model and hero for his generation.

Strength with a Purpose

As a passionate evangelist, Tommy partnered with local churches to deliver messages that inspired believers to reach their full potential and activate spiritual breakthroughs. Centered on the Lordship of Christ, his teaching emphasized that destiny is not left to chance—it is a choice. Through bold faith and powerful testimony, he called men and women to pursue their God-given purpose with conviction and commitment.
